One of our core competencies in MPP is clarifying specifically
what differentiates the best leaders in a particular organisational
context.
Research shows it is the actual leadership behaviours that
are demonstrated day to day within the workplace that accrue
this difference. We describe this X factor as the types of
thinking that leaders bring and the conversations that they
have with people. We are able to help you define what the X
factor looks like in your organisation – that is the
thinking and conversations which will differentiate your leaders
given your competition and current and future markets and the
strategy of your organisation.
We use the above criteria as a basis for creative design of leadership programs
either for general development of a group of leaders or for assessment of talent.
Our programs are tailored to suit the needs of your organisation. We use varied
methods to engage people in different ways and use suitable diagnostic tools
to help leaders understand how they are seen by other people and the impact they
create.
Some examples of our types of interventions are shown below:
Emotional intelligence – helping leaders understand
the facets of emotional intelligence, (EI), and how they
can improve their personal EI to lead with greater impact
Coaching skills – helping leaders become better at
supporting and challenging new talent from generation x and
generation y
Maximising constructive leadership styles – helping
leaders understand which styles create greater impact, how
they are seen by their people and how they can take steps
to improve their personal leadership within their current
job role
Development events for talent – assessing and developing
recognised talent against a range of work based activities;
these include business simulations/performance management
scenarios requiring individual problem solving/presentations/strategy
development/decision-making & judgement exercises/assessment
interviews.
Each program is individually designed based on the unique
issues facing the client.
